Waiting For Superman

The movie "Waiting for Superman" was very shocking to me but also informing. Listening to the stories that the children and parents told were sad. It made me think about how kids sometimes take their education for granted when their are kids that actually want to go to school, but they can't even get in. Seeing how motivated they were to go to school and how they were in class warmed my heart. Hopefully all of the kids of the next generations to come will become as motivated as the students on the video but without the circumstances and problems they have. I didn't agree with the "lemon dance" theory. I feel like a principals should try their hardest to get rid of "bad teachers" no matter what they have to do. In the end a bad teacher is a bad teacher, switching them around to different schools is not going to make it better. How is that going to help the students if they get different teachers every year, but they still have the same bad habits or teaching skills as the one before them.  America has a big problem on the educational field and as future educators we need to try to do every and anything in our power we can to change it.
