21st Century Classroom
A 21st century classroom, to me, would look like an electronic playground. Technology has grown over the years and have taken over everything including the classroom. There are not many white boards left, there are "smart boards". These boards can be controled from the computer, this is what the teacher uses to teach the students. Computers are not used often either because we have moved on to laptops that sit around the classroom. You see eBooks and kindles which are used in the classroom to read different stories and books. This way you dont have to go to the library all of the time. Chairs and desks are there. The walls are filled with colorful pictures of children playing and learning.

Love the term electronic playground... I agree with the kindles and eBooks, these are some of the things I will intergrate into my classroom.
ReplyDeleteI think technology in the classroom is very effective. Yes smart boards are now seen more than blackboards because they are more convenient. Teachers can use them from any part of the classroom, instead of constantly walking backa and forward to the front of the class.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the usage of laptops more in the classroom because that's what my cooperating teacher uses. The usage of ebooks is good too. The kids would have to carry around heavy books anymore. Plus no one can say they lost their book if it's on their kindle
ReplyDeleteTechnology is the new fad, so the future youth of tomorrow will have much greater expierence with technology than todays youth.
